I am an Indian and I have been lurking in this forum for quite sometime. I follow like 30 other country's subreddits. I have always been curious about what ordinary people from other countries discuss.

Having said that I am curious, are people who post in this subreddit, actually Chinese? I heard from a few Chinese friends I have in the US that there is a "great firewall" that prevents people from joining Reddit. One Chinese friend I have who left US and went back to China told me to join Weibo so I can stay in touch with him. So I was really curious, are you guys actually from China? I am particularly curious because I see a lot of memes on Xi.

Also, some of these posts have are written in Flawless English. Which again made me wonder if the people who post here are actually Chinese. I am a non-native English speaker too. My English is very shitty. Some of these posts & comments look like they were written by native English speakers.
