Did I develop a fetish because of my mother?

Growing up my mother showed a dislike for the lgbt community. She was overly smothering and would be there to control a lot of my life. I found myself disliking anything she didn’t like even without giving it a shot to please her. Anyway, as a child I would get turned on by the idea of wearing women’s clothing. Part of me thinks I got attached to it because she found that it is so wrong and I wanted freedom. Or maybe I did what she disliked the most to see if she would still love me. What do you think are the chances I developed this as a result of my mom being overbearing?
