My ex wife has filed for a modification to increase. I am currently paying 700/month and now they want me to pay 1135/month. I think this is nuts cause I carry my children’s healthcare, dental, vision, and have paid for most of their medical bills so we have been divorced. My ex wife also refuses to work since she says she has to stay at home with her current husbands three other children, I have it documented in text messages of her saying she just wants to stay home to stay home is all. I am trying to not have this child support increase so much as I am currently going through school and will be starting the clinical portion of my program very soon during which I will not be able to work since the hours are from 6 am to 530 pm every other day. Any help is appreciated.
