A family friend is offering me and my bf the opportunity to get a chihuahua for free, if its going to a good home.

I am verrrrrrry keen but my bf is unsure we are compatible for a dog.

I work 10 mins away from where I live, so I'm always home by 4pm. I leave at 8.15.

My partner leaves for work at 8.30, home at 5.

We live within 20 minutes of two huge parks, both very dog friendly and also fairly quiet places to walk as well.

We live in a two bed flat, there is a bit if grass out the front for him to go for a wee quick pee.

I just want to make sure I'm getting him for the right reasons.

Will he be on his own too long?

Hes 2 yo, a bit fat and needs some loving because he's an anxious soul. Atm he lives with 6 other dogs so it could be good for him to be an only dog and get all the attention, but could be bad for him to be on his own.

Any advice or guidance would be much appreciated.
