So last Sunday was my Christmas party hosted by my operator ( which is just a character, cool wife tho). Anyways, he said in a speech of how valued we are and so forth and that we were gonna hit symbol status and never in his 5 years ( more than 5 just for Corp to not dox me ) he’s ever gotten close and half of the BOH leaving, including me . He leaves Pepsi in the freezer and doesn’t really go out his way to really engage but gets mad when no one emails him about a broken tier basket :/ . Then FOH wages are so disproportionate to BOH and they get paid far more better and given chances to really expand than BOH and I don’t get that one bit. And I got paid $8.50 ( min where I live is 8.46$) but everyone else was making 9 at least and some making team lead money but no team lead responsibility but I was denied a raise. With me leaving to college soon I decided to quit and so did half of the kitchen. Sucks for sure but they just cut their labor so kudos to them :) anywho, it’s my last week so I’m going on break and getting no salt small fries with a medium well done fries and a spicy well done Bc I can. #itsbeenapleasure
