The tennis and this club have really gone downhill. You are paying country club prices for YMCA facilities. Prices have increased substantially, and class sizes have really grown which is not conducive for questions or individual corrections, just ball feeding. There is no clear evaluation system in place to allow you to know your ranking or next steps for advancement. There are no makeup classes and frequently was overcharged on bill. The building's AC is not working well on the courts, wet spots on court when rains and no towels in locker room. There are much better options nearby. Check Hinsdale Racquet Club and Oak Brook Park district. They are both nicer. cleaner facilities that are run more professionally in my opinion and offer tennis only membership fees.
If you’re strictly looking for tennis and not a pool or any other amenities Score in Countryside is pretty good for the money. They also have a small gym.
