2024 Trax 2RS Antilock Breaking System, Engine Light
Post Body

Curious if anyone else has had this fault/issue. Just purchased my 24 trax 2RS a little over a week ago. Zero issues until I got in it the other day and saw a notification on the screen telling me “Service Stabilitrak: your vehicle may be hard to control in certain conditions.” I chalked that up to the slightly icy roads and weather and went on my way.

That’s until my engine light and ABS light came on the next time I turned it on. At this point the car only had 80 miles on it (currently 100). Took it to dealership and they told me it may be a faulty sensor and they were going to order the part for me since the car is still under warranty. No issue with them doing that, it’s just when they told me is was a faulty sensor they didn’t sound sure at all. Then they proceeded to say it took them 2 hours to even figure out the sensor may or may not be faulty since there weren’t any visible signs of damage or anything to it.

Have been loving my Trax so far and was just curious if this has happened with anyone else or if anyone had anymore information/experience with this.

Windows and infotainment have been working fine, heated seats a/c climate control doing great and wireless charging works fine too. No other issues with car so far.
