So I've found out that even updating my 2016 chevy impala radio the unit still doesn't support Android auto. I think the part that I need to replace is the IO6 unit in the impala? Is that legit the only part I need or do i need to replace other parts? A lot of chevy reps are saying that the car needs to have it "built into" the car already but that doesn't seem right to me. Whatever I need to replace I will; I just want to get the parts from a reputable source. It would be better if I could walk into a dealership and ask for specific parts. Please any info on how to get android auto on my 2016 chevy impala LTZ2 would be nice. I have the 8inch screen amd the settings talk about Apple carplay but no Android auto. Thanks!
Edit: my phone is a Samsung 22 Ultra
