Mine don’t work. I bought some cheap ones online, I forget the brand name now because it was a while ago.
My problem is this: I can’t figure out how to pop the new ones on.
-The original supports have that open design with the snap ring/pin around them.
-The new ones I bought have sort of flat pieces of metal bent outward (on the inside of the ball piece that connects to the hatch or the body). I’ve already broken one of the flat metal clips on on of the new ones
Sorry if my description is confusing but I don’t know how else to describe it

I don’t know. I wish it that easy for me. Mine is an 89. Both sides popped off when I removed the old strut.
