I am an old school Toyota guy and am interested in an XJ to build as a very mild wheeler/weekend camping toy.
Looking at this 94 XJ with around 200k tomorrow morning.
Ad states it drives fine but has Ben sitting not getting driven much so needs fluid’s changed etc.
I’m not crazy about an automatic, but I have driven a 4.0/auto XJ before and the power was adequate. In Toyota world autos suck what little power they are making in the first place.
What would be some specific areas to pay attention to?
I hate rust and have seen to check floor boards as they rust often. Other hot spots for rust?
I am mechanically inclined and will give the drivetrain a good shake down.
Thanks for any and all help!
