So I’m replacing my floor pan in my 99 xj, fabing the pan and new seat bracets myself with 12 gauge metal and a really big hammer… my question is, while I have the pan out and access to the top of the core frame, should I add a anything to make it stronger? 1/4 plate or something? The plan is an ls swap with the 4l80 or 60, 1 ton axles, 37-44” tires a roll cage and a few other things!
