I’m set to graduate May 2025 and so far my only job experience is a co-op I had last year (2023) that lasted from January to July. Is that going to be enough to get a full time job when I graduate? A recruiter told me that my experience was basically a long internship rather than a co-op (since I didn’t alternate semesters) so now I’m starting to get anxious if my experience is enough.
(In the U.S. just for clarification)
I had one internship and 2 co-op for a big O&G company when I was in school. From my understanding they’re both the same. The only difference is internship is usually during the summer only. And experience is experience no matter if it was an internship or a co-op :) If possible, I would try to apply for another summer 2024 internship to get more experience and build up your resume and connections!
