I first found anything out when I snooped around on her work laptop while she was out one night. I found a years-old draft e-mail she had started to one of her best work girlfriends at the time. In it she mentioned that she had "done something wild" at the company's big annual sales meeting, that she HAD to tell her about the next time they saw each other in person. I didn't know exactly what that meant but I knew it couldn't be good. I was wired, felt sick to my stomach. I confronted her as soon as she got home. After some ridiculous lies and denials that I didn't believe for a second I kept pressing her and she eventually broke down and admitted to what she said was a one-night stand with this single colleague of hers, a one-time drunken mistake she said. I was totally shocked, hurt, enraged, but also still suspicious that she wasn't telling me everything. I did some more snooping and investigating and a few months later I learned that the same stud had been plowing her behind my back for years.
