You may be thinking "who needs rules? The whole point of this is to free yourself."

Well... That may be a true statement but when you gamble in life, there is always a chance you might lose. If your life is anything like mine, you don't just lose, you lose big. So I take steps to protect myself and sometimes that means saying no to something you want.

So here are my personal rules to cheating.

1) Maintain your routine.

The first sign of a cheater is erratic behavior. Last minute excursions are a sure way to start raising your spouse's red flags. So if you have a routine, stick with it. Go to work when you go to work, go to the gym when you go to the gym, come home when you usually come home. If you want to cheat, it's best to take time from a regular activity to do it. If you need a bit more flexibility then you need to add another routine. Maybe a friend who can play a dramatic role and always appear to need you, or a hobby that your spouse wouldn't dare show interest in. When you have these things tho, stick with them. No saying oh, my class was switched to Thursday this week for no reason. And these are activities you actually should be doing. You want to have stories to share incase your spouse asks. If you say you're joining a book club, it will be pretty weird if you never have a book to read. Just miss them now and then for a little fun.

2) Always be honest.

This might sound like an oxymoron but the key wording is to always be honest. Doesn't mean you have to be completely honest. It's always easier to tell the truth than it is to lie. When you spend a long time with someone, it's pretty obvious when they lie so.... Just don't. If you stick to rule number 1 then rule 2 should be easy. If you can't be honest then steer the truth. "how was the gym?" Maybe you didn't go today cuz you were fucking the trainer instead of training. But you should have gone the day before so... Explain how that day went. Unless you have a spouse that constantly wants to know everything you do then you should have plenty of material already. You should also leave his ass cuz fuck that shit.

3) Don't lie about your relationship status with people you are cheating with.

Last thing you want is for a guy to get the idea that he has a shot at dating you, then sees you at the store with your husband. No no no no. That's a bad situation. If you have to lie about your relationship then you shouldn't be fucking that person. Wear the ring, wear it proud. The ones that hookups with you despite the ring should know the drill. Will also know that they should be cautious if they see you with someone else. So don't play single. You're a cheater and if someone wants to fuck you, then better damn well understand that. Also use a fake name and be sure the person you're cheating with understand it's a fake name. Unless you're looking for romance, this shouldn't be an issue.

4) Never fool around at home or in your vehicle.

Things get misplaced all the time. A tie clip for example. Best way to avoid your spouse finding surprises at home is to make sure they can never get there in the first place. If you're cheating with someone in a relationship that also follows this rule.... We'll figure it out. It's a big world and there are options.

5) Never give out your phone number and understand cyber security.

Unless it's someone you really really trust, then just don't. Use an app that won't send notifications to community with an affair partner or AP. Snapchat is not a horrible way to go since it deletes everything anyway. I personally like the gram tho, however, if you use anything on your phone, you need to know how to delete things completely.

As well, learn about VPN's, web browsers, email accounts, and cloud servers. Any of these things can either bite you in the ass or be your saving grace. Learn what to use, how to use it, and how to clean it up.

6) Have someone that's in on it.

You got to have someone you can not only confide in, but someone who can watch your back, cover for you, or generally be that wildcard for when you are not able to follow rule 2. Ya it's risky but.... Ya.... Sometimes it's necessary.

7) Find a way to relax yourself.

Sometimes after cheating especially if you're new to it, your heart might be pounding a little more than normal. Whatever you need to do to relax, do it. Or take up running and constantly have a sports bra available.

8) Dont fuck people you or your spouse know personally.

Just don't. It's messy and just blah. I fucked up and did it once but I got lucky cuz turns out the guy and his wife are swingers and were completely in my corner. Usually tho, nope nope nope.

9) Get a pay as you go credit cart.

You want some plastic that isn't tied to your credit score or your bank account. Money lending places usually have these. Sure you could use cash to pay for things but sometimes you need a credit card. Get one and load it up slowly. Like maybe donating regularly to a charity or having to pay for one of your hobbies in order to descretley fill the card.

10) always answer your phone.

Doesn't matter if someone balls deep in you. If you're following the rules then they already understand. Answer the phone, reply to the text, whatever just do it. Sometimes it can even turn into some kinky hold the moan fun.

11) be aware of your scent

Don't forget about cologne or perfumes. If your a guy cheating you want your mistress wearing the same perfume as your wife or none at all. Same with lipstick. Also you need to use the same showering stuff that you normally use. Woman pick up on these subtle things you would not think about.
