Any of you have an open relationship but prefer cheating?

I know my wife hangs out here (hi honey!) even though she is free to get some strange on the side whenever she likes.

Not sure if she’s actually cheating or just enjoys the stories, but it got me thinking about if it’s as much the secrecy and sneaking as it is the variety and validation.

Anyone prefer playing on their own terms? Any of you just need to have a naughty secret to make it fun? Is it better if it’s forbidden and not sanctioned? Do you need the thrill of taking what you want and knowing you got away with it?
