Context: I found messages on his phone of him emotionally cheating on me and arranging to see sex workers.

It’s now officially a month after discovery day, and I’ve finally managed to arrange a day to exchange stuff each of us have of the other’s.

While we were discussing how to exchange things, he said “I don’t want to see you because of everything.”

My initial thought was ‘What did I do wrong?’ and felt that this sounded like he still didn’t understand how terrible what he did was. Yes, I was imperfect during the relationship, but what I did was never on the same level. I don’t want to see him after what he did, but him saying it to me rubbed me the wrong way.

I just wanted to get these feelings off my chest and ask other’s opinion on why he said what he said.
