Question for anyone out there! I had an account I used to broadcast from, never made any real money just did it because I enjoyed it. Long story short I get a from someone with my phone number the numbers of my close contacts and screen shots of me on CB they threaten to send those pics to all the contacts they had of mine unless I send them $1000. I didn’t engage and they kept pushing eventually group texting me two or the numbers “hi”. Neither of them answered thankfully but i immediately deleted my account and haven’t broadcast since, which I’m bummed about. I haven’t heard anything since and that was several months ago. My question is, what the hell!? I had two step authentication and everything. How did they get my contact info? What do others do to protect themselves online?
