I'm seeking a cis woman or FAAB non-binary person between the ages of 18-55 from anywhere in the world, to formulate some sort of connection; ideally I'd like someone to communicate and interact with on a long-term basis. I want someone who is open to exchanging voice messages and/or have phone calls. I'm open to a platonic or more intimate connection, though when it comes to intimate relationships I practice polyamory, as it aligns with my values/beliefs.
I'm a white cis man with an anglo-saxon eurocentric upbringing. I suffer from chronic depression, which has lead me to adopt a hermit lifestyle living in an isolated rural region. I spend a lot of my time playing some sort of strategy and/or RPG game whilst consuming marijuana.
Lately my biggest passion has been history: I enjoy immersing myself into different historical time periods and love costume dramas for this reason. I enjoy imaging what it would be like to live in a different time and/or culture. I feel quite constrained that I'm bound to just a very small period in history; I wish I could live for thousands of years if only to satisfy my curiosity of how the world will unfold.
I have a gravitation towards food and agriculture, which is what lead me as a younger man into beekeeping; I manage a number of beehives and always have different beekeeping projects that I'm working on. I also have pet chickens, and I'm interested in permaculture, ecology and starting a vegetable garden. I can quite enjoy cooking, though it feels like a chore most the time. I have ethical concerns with meat consumption and I've been practicing some sort of vegetarian diet essentially all my adult life; nowadays I'm a pescitarian.
As a young man I developed quite a passionate interest in psychology, which taught me to construct my world-view based on information compatible with modern science. Though I'm an atheist, I appreciate Buddhism and use some of its principles as guidance in my life. I'm fine with people who have religious and/or spiritual beliefs, though I'm quite strongly put off by dogmatic and/or superstitious thinking, as I prefer more critical thinking, non-conformist types who are skeptical/cynical and don't follow all the rules.
Currently with music, I'm most interested in experimental and traditional folk music, but in the past I've really been into punk music, partly due to appreciating the nihilistic, anarchist and counter culture themes.
Here's a recording of me talking:
If any of this resonates with you, feel free to send me a message; I'll reply faster to a PM rather than a chat, as the latter doesn't work on my mobile.
