I have finished writing a rather long essay but I haven't added any sources yet. I already know that all of the statements and arguments I have made in the essay are well supported in the literature, so, while I was feeling motivated, I just wrote the whole text itself without worrying about stopping to include references as I went. Now I need to add references though, and it's going to be a very long and tedious job, so I am hoping that perhaps there is an AI tool out there that will make the task a lot faster/easier.
I need an AI tool which, after I provide it with a sentence or paragraph, it will provide me with an exact source (author, title, publishing info, and page number) that says the same thing/makes the same argument as the initial sentence/paragraph I provided.
Anyone know an AI tool like this?
Also, before anyone asks, I do know the scholars in my field who have said the things/made the arguments I have made in my essay, and I usually even know which books/papers they have made them in. I just don't know the exact page numbers and publication information off the top of my head, and going to look those details up for the hundreds of sources I'm going to need to include will be very time consuming, which is why I want an AI tool to just do it for me.
