Hey guys, I'm currently having a brainfart moment but I'll still continue writing in the hopes that some might get what I'm asking for.

Does anyone know the proper things to say to ChatGPT for it to help you expand upon your story? For example, I just want to write the things the main character would do (i.e, Arthur goes to this town and encounters... and Arthur then goes to fortify this station) and the AI will write a story following those premises, and just those. (Bonus if the outcome is unpredictable, something might appear/hinder the protagonist)

Also, what's the proper uh... prompt? to all of this? I always start with giving the background of the story, the characterization of the MC and the setting itself. Do I need to add more for the AI to be seamless?

Or are there better much suited AI's other than chatGPT for story writing?
