Large language chat bots arent going away and are only going to get harder to distinguish from human writers. If you try to ban it, people will just get better at engineering prompts to make papers look human. If you have students learn read and respond to generated content critically, you prepare them for the future, so that they understand what they are giving up by letting ChatGPT think for them.
