I'm experiencing some frustrating issues with ChatGPT's ability to follow basic instructions. Initially, I asked it to transcribe my timetable from an image, which it managed to do with some input from me. However, things got tricky when I requested it to generate an .ics (iCalendar) file code based on the transcribed timetable. Despite giving clear instructions and providing all the necessary details, ChatGPT repeatedly failed to produce the complete code in the format I needed. It kept providing partial information or requesting further input from me, esentially trying to get me to do the work for it, even though I specified that I wanted the full code to copy and paste into an existing file. It's like it's struggling to grasp and execute straightforward tasks, which is quite surprising given its capabilities. Has anyone else experienced this kind of 'laziness' or difficulty in getting ChatGPT to perform seemingly simple tasks?
Im using the latest GPT 4 Version.
