Sapphire preferred vs Chase unlimited new 3% back dining

Hi y'all,
I opened both these cards earlier this year. Newest email that I got says that the unlimited card will now start earning 3% back on dining! (Sapphire gets 2x points on dining)
Does this mean that if I intend on transferring points to the Sapphire preferred card, the Unlimited card at 3% is superior? I think so right?
