Preapproved but didn’t get the card?

Hi Everyone, so recently I got an emailed that I was pre-approved for the Chase Sapphire Reserve but I applied and then I was denied? So I saw in the app that I was preapproved again so I tried again and then they said they would take 7-10 days to review it? I’m confused. What should I do? I’m just mad if I don’t get the card because it put credit inquiries on my FICO score.
