Flight Delay question

My flight from LAX to Singapore was delayed by 6 hours and then eventually cancelled (by the time I woke up).
They rebooked me on another flight but it’s more than 24 hours later than my initial flight.
I know CSP covers flight delays over 12 hours. Would CSP cover food/essentials even though LA is my starting destination? (Technically primary residence)
