Gopuff $10 credit doesn't work with PayPal method of payment

I made a purchase through Gopuff using CFF with PayPal method of payment. PayPal coded the transaction as paypal-store name instead of PayPal -Gopuff.
PayPal says it received the transaction from store directly, not through Gopuff.
So, chase doesn't provide $10 statement credit.
How is this a customer error when these things should be properly handled by these companies and merchants?
Has anyone experienced the same?
