Can I open a Chase credit card with an 8+ year old checking account charged off?
Post Body

I've been rebuilding my credit for a couple years, my reports are finally clear and I have 800 score on all 3 bureaus. I was trying to open a Chase checking account with a SUB but it wouldn't let me and I found I had an old Chase Liquid account for a couple months from early 2014 that when I called she said it was charged off and she can't do anything so I need to go into a branch. I'll def do that once I'm able to but I'm wondering if that would affect me applying for some of their CCs cause I wanted to get the chase cards out of the way before I do Amex
