Edit: I just walked in, showed my proof of insurance to the DA and he said "ok, it's dismissed"!
I have to go to court in a few days for driving without insurance in Wake County. I’m scared about what’s going to happen. The officer said I wasn’t going to jail, but I don’t know if he just meant in that moment, or what. Has anyone gone through this before?
