Hey folks, I'm JD. Not sure how in depth to go into all of this because I don't want to make it seem like I'm trying to guilt people into helping out. I work as a contractor for Big Company TM, and during the last two months of 2021 I got righteously screwed on several paychecks. On top of that, I had other bills, and unexpected car troubles (experienced my first flat tire December!). So between that and all the late fees, I got really behind on rent.
My apartment complex gave me an eviction notice with a 4 week period to pay it all back, so I have until the Tuesday after next to come up with everything. I'm really close, but due to not working last Monday as there was a holiday, I'll be short by about $200. I'm not going to go into specifics as to why, but I don't really have any family or friends to reach out to. And the few that I do are also going through hard times.
I've contacted a local charity who was able to help out, but I don't want to double dip and I'm struggling to make up the last bit of money. I live in Austin, TX. So if anyone can help out monetarily or even just give me some advice, or tell me your favorite joke, it would be greatly appreciated. I attached two pictures, one of the notice and one of my remaining balance. Thanks everyone :))
