Tailgating Question - Does ANY Pink Lot Pass work?

Is tailgating allowed in the WHOLE Pink Lot? Or do I have to buy one that specifically says 'tailgating allowed area'?
We are planning to head to the Giants game and want to make sure we are able to tailgate. And, I don't want to overpay for a parking space
The Chargers site doesn't make it totally clear. Thanks for your help! And if you're going to be there on the 12th DM me and lets have a beer!
