Every single time there's a post or comment about kyoshi, theres a billion comments saying that "oh she'd murder this guy and spill hit guts and then eat them and she'd love it and jerk off because she hates people and loves violence hahaha!!!111!!" Like, what the fuck? Kyoshi literally HATES using violence. Read the fucking novels. She only uses violence as a last resort, and she absolutely loathes the fact that she has to hurt people sometimes to get what she wants. It's literally her entire fucking character arc. No, she wouldn't cheer korra on during fights, telling her to beat the shit out of everyone in sight. She would fucking tell her to calm the fuck down, use her words to resolve conflict, and only beat people up if there's no other option.

Everyone gets this idea of kyoshi as a bloodthirsty monster from that one episode where aang talks to all the other avatars, BUT LITERALLY ALL FOUR OF THEM TELL HIM TO KILL OZAI!!! If kyoshi is supposedly a sadistic killer, then all of the past lives aang spoke to are. But this is fucking wrong. Killing Ozai was a last resort. All of the past avatars made that clear. They didn't say "OMG FUCKING MURDER HIM YESSS AANG GO DO IT FUCK LIFE FUCK PEOPLE KILL HIM!!!" they said "hey you can try a bunch of shit but if you can't stop him, then killing him is ur only option left."

Also the shit about kyoshi being an unfeeling soul incapabale of emotion, like, what ?? rangi? does rangi not exist?? does kelsang not exist? does lek not exist? she literally has a hot firebender gf who's the love of her life, how does that equate to being a stoic uncaring shell of a person i genuinely dont understand
