Some Stuff about the Heros' Village for Clarity's Sake
Post Body

So, I realized that Not Everyone knows the exact nature of the Heros' Village (which is fair, since I'm likely the ONLY person that does due to me being the one who made it). So I'm gonna make a quick list of notable things that should be known for future reference, should anyone want to do anything with it (except for like... Completely Destroying it, so I don't have to make up a reason for that to be Impossible. Sorry, but I'm not letting this thing be destroyed)

Here's the Main things that make it so safe for the Links to live in:

  1. The Heros' Village does NOT Physically exist in Hyrule Itself. It is in a Pocket Dimension that exists outside of time (hence why all the Links can even be there at the same time), but has at least One Physical Entrance within Hyrule. I will not say where that entrance is though.
  2. Said Entrance to the Pocket Dimension is Extremely Well Hidden Physically, and also has Illusory Magic over it to make it Nearly Impossible to find without Either Brute Forcing it (if you know the General Area) or just knowing exactly where it is (Which only the Links and Dracos really know).
  3. There is a Ward (Barrier) around the Entire Village (not the entire Pocket Dimension though), stretching a little bit outside of the Physical Fort-Like Walls that surround The Main Village, throughout the Caves Beneath it, and even covering the Sky Islands above that are part of the Village. It is explicitly made to keep any of Ganon's Creations out, as well as anything else the Links may need to keep out of the Village (like other Non-Ganon Evils or Particular Individuals). It prevents simply Teleporting in or traveling through Realms to try and bypass it by also having its effect work within the bounds of the Ward (Don't worry, it would just FLING you out of the Perimeter of itself. Obviously, this does not apply to what the Ward doesn't effect (Like the Links)). Destroying the Ward is """"""""""possible"""""""""", but.... GOOD LUCK.

Now for some simple Layout things (for Fun):

  1. There are at least 2 Woods within the Village walls (it's a pretty big place). Twilight and Time live in one of them, with their houses not far from each other. That one has some Lost Woods properties to its deeper parts. Light (an Unofficial Link I've made) lives in the other.
  2. There is a Lake (About TP Lake Hylia Size and Depth) that Wind's house is next to. He even has a Dock for his Boat(s). A River from said lake flows throughout the Village.
  3. There is a system of Rails around and throughout the Village, with a Small Train on it for very easy transport of Materials (And the Occasional Link) throughout the entire Village. Take a wild guess which Link runs it.
  4. There is a Fountain in the Middle of the Village (like the OoT, TP, and TFH Castle Towns'), featuring (what else) A Statue of an Indeterminate Link. One may often find a few Links playing their Instruments or simply relaxing there.
  5. As previously Mentioned, there are Cave Systems that run beneath the Village with some Entrances Above Ground. There's also some Sky Islands floating above it (Sky and his Loftwing live on the Largest one).
  6. Each Link's House either looks identical to the One they Have in their respective Games, or Look like other Buildings found in said games if they don't have one (usually given something unique to show exactly Which Link's House it is if so).
  7. There is exactly ONE Link House not within the Village Walls but still in the Barrier... The Links don't like to talk about the One who lives there. (CDi Link)

I will (probably) add more details that I think up later. There will likely not ever be a Map for the Village's layout, unless I can Brainstorm one up (in like MS Paint or Some other Art Program).

If you have any questions that haven't been answered (and reasonably can be), feel free to ask.
