What would make forgeworld knights worth it??

I just looked at the big ass forge world chaos knights for like 800 points. Their shooting seems kinda meh, comparable to a tyrant. It seems weird that these models are included in an army roster, yet are almost never taken. What's the point? What would make them good or valuable? Or are they just extra fluffy guys one could take?
