I've never had a CK list before. I'm just getting the models now. But I'm trying to figure out a 1000 point list. I'm wanting to run a tyrant and 3 war dogs.

The tyrant has a lot of blast weapons. It wouldn't be able to shoot if the dogs are in engagement range, to support them. And the dogs themselves would have a harder time shooting.

If the dogs retreated so the tyrant could target those units, the dogs then couldn't shoot since they fell back.

It seems like knights would thrive on shooting, clearing people out before going in to secure a point, otherwise they'd suffer penalties.

Any ideas or suggestions, things I'm missing, as a new knight player?
