Thoughts on a relegation playoff?

There is a promotion playoff. Top 3 don't go up automatically. 3rd to 6th face off for the right to go up.
Here's my idea. 24th and 23rd go down
22nd, 21st, 20th and 19th face off in a 2 legged tie
22nd Vs 19th
21st Vs 20th
Losers of both ties go through to the final, Hold it at a neutral venue cup final style
Winner celebrates staying in the championship for another season, Loser goes down to league 1
Adjustments to the format or general comments welcome

That’s interesting about sports in America. I read about one of our owners talking about trying to get Phoenix Rising into the mls and the whole process is crazy to me. Seems you have to pay $150m to join if they even let you in the league.
