Actually every source online period is my recommended setup vs what your are saying in a subreddit so just saying to each their own but stop making it seem like I am dehydrating and damaging my chameleon. I appreciate the recommendation but as I said I will not do it and clean the cage daily.now if I found him to have hydration issues then of course I would try this as well that is not the case.
I completely understand that but the place I go to will recommend other places I can purchase and I am friends with the family it is not just out for profit but I understand just saying for my set up a water glass is not something I will use for my setup. If someone else finds benefits that is great.
Thanks I did not want to use any fake plants I figured it would help with my humidity and just look nicer
That is only if enclosed and they do not have proper airflow the cage is noting but mesh and I live in so cal if not I would consider that option but I am keeping it to what he was used to from the reptile shop that specializes and is a greater breeder they have had no issues as well.
I will agree to disagree and leave it at that every other source I have read period says otherwise on glass drinking. If it works for you great but there has been a lot of discussion and yes some harm reported on every other source I can find online. At the end of the day I prefer to keep mine as natural environment as possible and as long as my chameleon is hydrated and do not feel the need to train on glass drinking.

No he has a mister and a dripper to make sure he is hydrated from everything I have researched a water glass is not a good choice for hydration.
