I thought of this idea after watching one of Broku video on the 5 basic fears that make up a fear, while watching this video he goes on to talk about how the chainsaw devil seems to be the strongest devil even though people don’t actual fear chainsaws he was able to fight off the “hell devil”. Which made me think that he isn’t a normal devil in the since of being feared by humans or that the name chainsaw devil is just a name to hide it’s true name, going back on the 5 basic fears I saw that mutilation is one of the fears. What if his name is the mutilation devil and he just uses a chainsaw as a way of mutilation? Maybe thinking to deep into it but I’d think that’d be a nice twist. If true (also the other basic fears are Extinction, Mutilation, Loss of Autonomy, Separation, Ego-death) and then there’s fear itself devil but I want to know what people think about this and if it holds up.
