My wife is an ER nurse, and I’ve always just assumed, and put out of my mind that she has seen and probably even has handled plenty of penises over the years. She never talks about it, at least in front of me. I’m sure her and her friends do at work?? Again I don’t think about that, it’s just a part of the medical field. One weekend while playing in my Saturday adult league softball game, I slid into a base funny and felt something in my leg tighten up! As the game went on I played through it but could feel it getting worse and had a noticeable limp. When I got home my wife convinced me to go to the ER and get an X-ray. She was off that night and I didn’t want her having to spend the evening off n the ER, where she works. I was able to drive myself so I did. I got there and checked in, my wife’s friends all know me and got me back in a room right away. I greeted them all as I walked past the nurses station, there were about 6 out of the 8 girls there she normally works with and hangs out with.
When I got into the room I was given a robe to put on and told go ahead and take my clothes off. It Kinda felt odd being told that by my wife’s friend and coworker but again it’s medical and she was professional. While I was in the room waiting for the Dr. the rest of the nurses working would come in and say hello. Again not abnormal, they all know me I know their husbands or boyfriends, they are at my house all the time. At one point there were 5 of my wife’s friends and coworkers in my room and we were all chatting. The dr. Came in and he was familiar with me as well so he didn’t think anything of it, or at least didn’t say anything. He walked right over to me and started asking me about the injury, I figured he’d wait until everyone was out the room but he didn’t, he asked me to stand up and as he pulled my robe open to get a look, I found myself standing there fully exposed in front of 5 of my wife’s friends!!! It wasn’t like a quick flash and oops sorry!! He held it open like it was no big deal and I don’t even think he realized it? He was examining the injury!! I stood there naked trying not to make eye contact with my wife’s friends as I saw them moving around the room towards the exit, but I know they saw me!!! And they had to see the color drain from my face! It seemed like the most awkward 20 seconds of my life. But nothing compared to how awkward it is now every time I see all of them!!! They are usually at my house at least once a week or we all do something as a group once a month!! I never brought it up to my wife and I have know idea if they did???
