I'm just starting out. I've made some stuff by myself, attended some short introductory classes and have a three day course focusing on turning on the wheel and glazing coming up soon.
I spent 3 1/2 hours on this effing mug, lol. But I did thumb it (not including the bottom piece and handle, rolled those) so I guess that's to be expected. WHY did I thumb it. Anyway.
As the title says, I would love to hear if there's anything you wish you would have known when you were a beginner. I'm trying to soak up as much knowledge as I can. :)
