I was spraying last night and had to clean my gun at least 10 times between 4 pieces. I would clean it, mix a new batch of cerakote, strain, spray for 30 seconds or so and it would start clogging. At first cutting in and out with consistent trigger engagement, then only puffs if I repeatedly engaged the trigger, then nothing. It’s almost like some of it was curing into a sludge in the cup.
Details:
30* outside, 45-50* in garage with heater New hir graphite black Newer h series sig gray Older h series shimmer aluminum.
Catalyst from two new (30 days old) syringes
Recommended gun settings with minor adjustment, 20-30 psi
I’m hoping someone has some input because this is driving me mad. I’m assuming it’s either the product temp or something dumb I’m missing because I sprayed some kg with their 180 additive as well and didn’t have this issue.
I'd agree it sounds chemical reaction in my opinion
Mine would almost like start getting ready thick to the point the gun won't spray it and plugged up
But how long have u had them I'm curious one of mine was a little over 130days old
How old do you think the h series is I've had similar issues with certain colors
