Is the certification worth it? Could I just learn it on my own if I invest/build my own tools (except for the spray gun and other things) and watch videos?
Just my 2 cents I've been cerakoting close to 13years now and no training from them but I have thousands of hour of paint and body experience under my belt. I stay plenty busy with cerakote work not just firearms but other stuff also. Also I've had to redo alot of work that certified applicators have screwed up. But you have to decide how involved you wanna be mine started of as a side deal doing my own stuff from engine blocks to sunglasses
