Stepping through the Palace, guards in tow, the High Captain struggles towards one of the many chambers that Her Radiance was known to frequent on days such as these. The Sun Guard had been alerted, and the slow pace of the High Captain gave them plenty of time to give notice.

He felt sick. It was geting worse, no longer just the pains in his joints, but a shortness of breathe. The run he had taken to intercept these... honest merchants had near torn him apart, and it was beginning to dawn on his mind that perhaps he needed an extra pair of hands for situations like these. Or simply a retirement plan.

Approaching the audience chambers, he nods to the guards and clears his throat, before entering.

"Apologies for rousing you, Your Radiance, in such an unusual time and manner. I have a guest who was interested in meeting with you and providing you gifts. Given his affiliation I took him aside for a private conversation, but he seems earnest and forthright."

Bowing gently, he concludes: "There is also the matter of his colleague, who proved rather aggressive and disrespectful to your office, so I have taken the liberty of placing him in the dungeons for the present moment. I deemed him a potential threat to yourself, and his presence unbecoming of the palace. I hope I have not overstepped my bounds."
