When you declare you’re now partnered and the date you’re partnered from, does Centrelink just take your word for it or do they do some investigating? I partnered up earlier this year but have no idea what date to put. If I put any random date, are they going to look into stuff like phone records/bank accounts/other stuff I’m not aware of to try and corroborate dates?
