Hello all…. I’m a 75 yo pensioner with a raft of chronic health issues and finding it very hard to look after myself. I live alone. My Dr has suggested I look at a full time carer and she has done all the necessary paperwork in readiness for me to agree to it. I’m finding it very difficult to lose my independence plus everything is moving too fast for me…..I suppose I just have to suck it up
The carer will possibly be an adult relative and will live in my house. There won’t be any relationship as such.
Will having a full time carer affect my pension in any way?
We will be living two separate lives and the carer will be living rent free in my house…..will anything be impacted with this arrangement?
Thanks for reading and apologies for waffling on a bit
