Hi all…. I’m a West Aussie age pensioner and was wondering if anyone on here has used the Govt Dental Clinics? I’ve already checked and I’m eligible for 75% of any (?) dental work to be covered by the Govt however, I’m a bit confused. Does this go as far as major dental work like implants and bone grafts if needed? What does it actually cover you for?
Also, I still have private health cover which covers dental…..can I use this to claim the 25% or part thereof back?
I’ve had a really bad run health wise the last 20 plus years but was lucky to have a well paying job and I could afford private cover and to pay in cash when I needed to….I did aim to be a self funded retiree but, things change and now after a lot of advice, I’m looking into what I am entitled to.
Thanks in advance
