Is anyone else consistently getting repeats?

I know there are quite a few other enumerators in my zone but it seems as though I am getting assigned a lot of the same houses a day after I was just there. I'm guessing they're assigned by a computer but if someone already angrily refused to interview with me and slammed the door in my face, won't they be even more mad to see me again?
Maybe it's normal to get a good amount of houses you've already been to but does anyone have advice on how to approach houses you've already been refused from?
