I've been in this lifestyle for a long time now and there are always certain red flags that make me hold back and take a second look at any given person or situation. I'm just wondering what everyone else's red flags are and if they share any of the ones I have?

1. Any time a couple wants to exclude a member of another couple is a big one for me. Most of the time it will be a husband being excluded and his wife being invited but sometimes it's the opposite. Anytime I see a posting that says something similar to that I know that something shady is going on.

2. When one member of a couple is overtly controlling or pushy over the other. That usually tells me that it's only the controlling person that is interested and that the other is only going along with it for them.

3. When a single wants to meet you both initially but then tries to convince the intended to meet solo. Again, it's a shady sign.
