Black Screen on BoTW for way longer than people say it should be

Problem/Error

Yuzu is too unstable so I'm trying to do Linkle mods on Cemu, but whenever I start it up BotW launches but never gets past a black screen. I can tell it's not frozen because the gamepad screen is still actively blinking. I've left it running for at most an hour but no dice. I even deleted my shader cache but no difference. I haven't followed any tutorials for setup other than the built in ones for BCML and Cemu. I can see that this is a common issue, but trying to find the answer leads me in circles of deleted posts and "I dunno"s.

Please help!!
