Hello everyone! I recently took on a new cello student (10yo) and we had our first lesson yesterday....I couldn't have felt more lost. I've taught two others in the past but those individuals were an adult and a high schooler. I never realized how different it could be teaching a kid. Her attention span just isn't all that great, and I could tell that I was losing her interest/attention about half way through the lesson. I would appreciate any tips and maybe book recommendations that I could use to more efficiently teach this girl propose technique. Thanks!!
