The idea of the stepford wives has become pretty self-explanatory in popular culture. It’s well-worn territory, but there’s nothing wrong with something well-worn in my opinion. For this, I’d like to mix my enjoyment of stepfordization, as well as associated kinks, and celebrities. It’s also important to note that, while the concept is typically associated with the idea of having a woman and a man in a relationship, I’m not looking for just that. I’m definitely open to it, but I think the premise works just as well with two women - the dynamic asserting itself all the same.

In this roleplay, there’s a hot new gated community in the Beverly Hills area - Pink Meadows. Slowly but surely, it’s become populated by celebrities and their significant others. Even the single ones who move there seem to have a romantic partner before they know it. From the outside, it looks like a beautiful, idyllic community - but there’s of course more under the surface.

There’s something in the water, changing the people there. Peeling back their outer layers so that their inner selves are able to emerge, whether it’s their true selves or not. How much of it is really them and how much is just the control being asserted over them is up to us.

I’m looking to play as a single celebrity who moves into this community, blissfully unaware of what’s beneath the surface. Getting to live next door to her co-stars and fellow celebrities is nice, but something seems off about them. They’re not who she expected them to be and it seems like they’re trying to show her how much better things are on the other side.

Who are you in all of this? You could be one of the other housewives, helping to work her over until she’s one of them. Maybe one of the men or women in the area who’s dominant, in control, and decides to make a good housewife out of my character. Or maybe something else entirely, if you have any ideas you might prefer.
